Leicester City are experiencing a mini-rally under new boss Craig Shakespeare following the ruthless sacking of Claudio Ranieri, with Kasper Schmeichel leading the charges.

The Dane's heroics in the Champions League last round of 16 tie against Sevilla helped guide the Foxes into the quarter-finals.

Not to mention their steady rise up the league table who are now six points off the drop. A far cry from a few months ago.

So it should go without saying that he's been attracting plenty of interest. Including from within the Premier League.

According to reports, Arsenal are considering an offer for the keeper as they view him as an ideal long-term replacement for current No.1 Petr Cech.

The Czech-native swapped Chelsea for Arsenal after Thibaut Courtois returned to West London prompting his move cross town.

While the Gunners were initially delighted with the acquisition, he's failed to inspire the home fans since, even being subject to criticism after committing the odd howler.

Arsene Wenger's side have conceded a shitload of goals recently, which has alerted the French boss in snapping up a new keeper in the summer.

Could Schmeichel be tempted with a move to London while plying his trade for one of the big guns? Watch this space.
