They'll be lots of talk of successful transfer deals between now and 11pm on Wednesday, a time I'm now seeing as something I can't wait for so I can stop writing transfer stories, but they'll be plenty of failures too and Liverpool have so far failed for one of their targets.
Lord knows why so many clubs wait so long to do so much business, yeah the odd transfer this late in the window would make sense but good lord so many fucking transfers happen in the last few days of the allotted time it's ridiculous.
Jurgen Klopp has obviously joined the massed ranks of football managers making late phone calls and hoping the fax machine is working by making a £11 million bid for Borussia Dortmund youngster Christian Pulisic. however according to ESPN FC Klopp's former club have no interest in selling the player.
The 17 year old American, whose middle name is genuinely 'Mate', is highly rated by Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel and they have no interest in selling currently, something that Liverpool are reportedly fine with and won't be making an improved offer at the time.

The Bundesliga club are reportedly okay with the midfielder leaving on loan to aid his development but it remains to be seen if that's something the Anfield club would want or even the German's if he isn't going to get enough game time at Anfield right now.
