Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been forced to admit the club could be about to lose one of its most promising young players, with Liverpool said to be his reported potential destination.

For several years now, Dominic Solanke has been lauded as a future Blues first-team star, and was awarded the England Youth Player of the Year back in 2014.

Still only 19, Solanke spent last season out on loan at Dutch side Vitesse where he scored 7 league goals, but with his contract running out this summer and Chelsea seemingly unwilling to meet his reported demands for £50,000 per week, Solanke looks set to depart Stamford Bridge - with Liverpool said to be waiting in the wings.

Antonio Conte was asked about the situation regarding Solanke and Liverpool's interest earlier today at his weekly press conference, and the Italian manager didn't try and pull the wool over anybody's eyes:

Where do you think Solanke will end up in the summer?

Is he the kind of exciting young talent who could thrive under Jurgen Klopp?
