If you consider the fact that Oscar is currently earning £90,000 a week as you read this article, then you'll probably be asking the same questions as me. Firstly, "how has he actually managed to do this?" and secondly, "what has happened to football?".
Earlier this week, news broke that Oscar was "90% certain" of a spectacular move to Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG, who are managed by former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas.
Further details of the move have now emerged online, and it looks like the Brazilian midfielder is going to become the third highest earner in world football.

That's right - he will be just behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi when it comes to earnings. You know, those guys who came 1st and 2nd in the Ballon d'Or standings this week.
The 25-year-old will move to the club for a reported 52 million, earning £20 million every season after tax, according to The Times.
Do not rub your eyes - Oscar has been offered weekly net wages of £400,000 by Shanghai.

It turns out Fenerbahce were keen on signing the Chelsea player but let's be honest, if a club offer you £400,000-a-week, it's going to be pretty hard to turn down.
