Radja Nainggolan Caught Saying He Wants A Return To Roma

The Belgian left the Stadio Olimpico to join Luciano Spalletti at Inter in the summer but now seems to want to go back to Rome.

Radja Nainggolan has caused controversy after audio of him saying he hopes that Francesco Totti can help him move back to Roma from Inter was leaked on social media.

Some transfers work and some really don't. There's often no rhyme or reason but sometimes a player moves from one club to another and everything that previously went right suddenly goes completely wrong.

Fernando Torres was already on the wane when he moved from Liverpool to Chelsea but no one would have guessed quite how badly his £50 million move to Stamford Bridge would have gone.

Equally Alexis Sanchez's move to Manchester United just hasn't worked out, whether that changes now Jose Mourinho has left Old Trafford remains to be seen.

In the summer Radja Nainggolan swapped Roma for Inter as he once again hooked up with Luciano Spalletti, the man who got the most out of him in the Italian capital.

Things haven't worked out yet for the Belgian and injuries have restricted him to just nine starts in Serie A so far this season.

However it doesn't look like he'll be at the San Siro much longer if he gets his wish. Audio of the 30 year old saying he wants a return to Roma has been linked, with Radja saying:

"Mamma mia, I'm making a mess here. I want to come back (inaudible).

"I'd give anything to be done here.

"It's all right, at first I've always given everything on the pitch and up until now they've kept quiet. And soon enough, if any of those Interisti come to kiss my ass, I swear, I'll give all of them hell.

"Well, I'm good enough friends with Totti, maybe I will push him... but then I'll have to cause a ruckus to be able to get out of here."

Nainggolan was recently suspended by the club and the reasons were not confirmed, it could be possible that they were aware of the audio before it was leaked.

The former Cagliari midfielder, who missed the World Cup in the summer, has also previously been in trouble for clubbing whilst at Inter.

It could be a very short stint in Milan for the midfielder.
