It appears Manchester United fans and the board aren't the only ones waiting for the conclusion of the Paul Pogba transfer saga.

According to the Telegraph, Real Madrid are set to follow up their initial interest of Moussa Sissoko with a concrete offer once United secure the Pogba deal.

The Frenchman impressed during the Euro's after seeing Newcastle relegated to the Championship though his performances - in particular against Germany and Portugal - have seen clubs from around Europe monitor his situation.

It's believed a fee of £30 million (!!) will see the 26-year-old move from Newcastle to Madrid with the report further suggesting that the deal will be finalised "in the next couple of weeks" as preliminary talks have already taken place.

After joining St James Park for a measly £1.5 million in 2013 he's since amassed 133 appearances while scoring 12 goals, in all competitions.

'Los Blancos' were also pursuing Pogba yet accepted defeat to the Premier League side, once that deal is completed Real will submit an official bid.
