Everyday someone has to either accept or reject an offer from the Chinese Super League, it's the rules of the January transfer window. And today it's Robert Lewandowski.

Of course after two world record contract signings this month, with Oscar and then Carlos Tevez, most of the talk when it comes to China is on people who have agreed to move.

However there is also an ever increasing list of players who have chosen to stay in Europe or South America in order to play at a higher level and reject the ridiculous money on offer.

Lewandowski had been reported to be on at least one Chinese teams radar but the Polish striker has apparently turned down a huge offer according to his agent:

"I was contacted by an agent who brings stars to China. The club name wasn't mentioned.

If Lewy had decided to move to China, his salary would have been significantly higher than €40m, which means more than Carlos Tevez earns."

Cezary Kucharski also admitted that the Bayern Munich striker could still leave the Bundesliga to move to the Far East at some point in his career adding:

"It's obvious: Lewy is not only younger but also a better player than Tevez. Robert is not for sale right now," but I never say never. Life offers several solutions."

The unnamed Chinese club were reportedly willing to offer 200 million euros to Bayern to sign the former Borussia Dortmund forward.

Last week John Obi Mikel claimed he would turn down a move to China in favour of a move to Valencia only to change his mind.
