Elon Musk teases UFC fight with Mark Zuckerberg at the Colosseum in Rome

The fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg could genuinely be happening and it seems like a potential location has emerged.

Elon Musk has teased a huge location for his mooted MMA superfight with Mark Zuckerberg.

Twitter chief Musk and Meta boss Zuckerberg have agreed to do battle inside the cage after a social media exchange in which the latter had told the Tesla CEO to "send me location".

Incredibly, UFC head honcho Dana White claims the pair are "dead serious" and has expressed his interest in staging the bizarre bout.

White has said it would be "the biggest fight ever in the history of the world" and one that would triple the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor boxing showdown - while even saying the pay-per-view price would be $100 (£78.62) but with the money going towards a charity.

Initially Musk proposed the "Vegas Octagon" as the location, but now, a new update indicates that the venue could be even more iconic.

TMZ Sports, citing "sources with direct knowledge" say that an government official from Italy has been in touch with Zuckerberg in regards to put on the event on at the iconic Colosseum in Rome.

The Minister of Culture entered communication with the 39-year-old and as a result, White's people have since been having conversations about putting the event on at the ancient amphitheater.

Only a few hundred people would be able sit inside one of the wonders of the world for the exhibition bout but it would be a special spectacle if it comes off.

Musk himself has reacted to talk of a a coliseum contest, writing: "Some chance fight happens in Colosseum" on Twitter.

TMZ say that both parties are "all in" on the encounter and have been speaking to White on a daily basis.

Musk has even received a training offer from MMA fighters Jorge Masvidal and Sean Strickland but UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov’s trainer Javier Mendez is tipping Zuckerberg to emerge victorious.

The Facebook founder has a background in brazilian jiu-jitsu, recently taking part in his first tournament and winning a gold and a silver medal in two different disciplines.
