Dana White names his five greatest UFC fighters of all time, leaves out some huge names

Dana White failed to name some UFC legends.

Dana White has named his picks for the FIVE greatest UFC fighters of all time and he's left out some huge names.

The UFC president joined boxing legend Mike Tyson on his podcast where they touched on a number of topics, including GOAT talk.

The likes of Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre and Demetrious Johnson, among others, are widely considered as some of the best fighters to have ever competed inside the famed Octagon.

But White snubbed naming Silva, St-Pierre and Johnson when selecting his picks for the five greatest UFC fighters in history.

He opted for former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who transcended the sport during their legendary reign as champion.

The 54-year-old also singled out Amanda Nunes, who famously beat Rousey in her UFC return. The Brazilian recently walked away from the promotion after her UFC 289 victory over Irene Aldana.

White named male UFC fighters Kamaru Usman, Chuck Liddell, Royce Gracie and Matt Hughes, too.

Usman and Hughes both captured the UFC welterweight title during their legendary spells while Chuck Liddell won the UFC light-heavyweight title and forged an iconic rivalry with Tito Ortiz.

As for Gracie, he was the tournament winner of UFC 1, UFC 2 and UFC 4.

Speaking to Tyson, he said: "You gotta have Ronda Rousey, know what I mean?

"You gotta have Amanda Nunes, greatest female fighter of all time. There’s just so many, it’s hard to pick five."

The UFC boss added: "Kamaru Usman has got to be in there, Chuck Liddell in his time, Royce [Gracie] in his era and in his time, it’s hard to just pick five.

"If you look at the different generations, they took the sport to another level.

"Matt Hughes would have to make the list. There’s so many people, it’s tough to pick."
