EA Sports could miss out on three footballing legends in FIFA 20 to Konami's eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020.
The PES 2020 publisher took to Twitter to share three legends featuring in its upcoming title, which are tied to its partnerships with Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Juventus.
David Beckham, who featured on the PES 2019 David Beckham Edition, will represent the Red Devils as a legendary player in PES 2020.
Bayern Munich legend Oliver Kahn will be the legendary player for the reigning German champions and Pavel Nedved is the main man representing Juventus.
Juventus legend Nedved, 46, featured as an icon in FIFA 19's Ultimate Team, but he might not return for FIFA 20 after Konami signed its exclusive partnership with Juventus.
United and Bayern Munich's partnerships aren't exclusive with the Japanese publisher, meaning that Beckham and Kahn could appear in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team.
Electronic Arts' value took a massive dip in the hours after it lost the licensing rights to Juventus in FIFA 20.
EA Sports has confirmed that players' names and faces will remain the same in its upcoming title.
But Juventus has been rebranded 'Piemonte Calcio' in FIFA 20 and will have a custom badge and kits for kick-off mode, career mode and Volta Football.
PES 2020 will launch on 10th September for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
FIFA 20 is slated for release on 27th September and will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One.
