Woman hits out after a confrontation with gym-goer over painted pants

A streamer has spoken out after a confrontation with a gym-goer over her painted pants.

Earlier in the week, Kick streamer Natalie Reynolds carried out a social experiment which involved her going to the gym wearing mostly body paint.

Reynolds was seen getting a pair of blue jeans and a top painted on her body before going to work out at the gym.

As she entered the gym, she was confronted by fellow gym-goers within minutes. You can watch the footage from the livestream below.

One said to her: “If you don't have clothes on, you need to be out of here, ma'am.”

After replying that she is wearing clothes, the gym-goer said he worked in the entertainment industry 'enough to know' that she wasn't wearing enough.

The man also criticised Reynolds for filming inside the gym, stating that she wasn’t supposed to do so.

Reynolds’ video has since gone viral on social media, sparking a big old debate on whether who is right or wrong.

One social media said: “Painted pants aren't real pants.”

Another added: “That dude was 100 per cent right.”

Reynolds was then hit with a community note on the social media platform Twitter, with the note saying that man in the video was ‘protecting the overall gym etiquette.’

It also warned people that not wearing appropriate clothing in the gym was disrespectful and unhygienic.

Reynolds has since responded on Twitter, she wrote: “Let me get my gains and shredded in peace pls.”

She then posted a picture of bodybuilders in trunks and bikinis showing off their muscles.

Before adding: “So when people wear these outfits it’s all about body positivity but when I’m wearing more then that it’s a problem.

“The gym allowed me inside, allowed me to film and had no issue otherwise they would have kicked me out…”
