Shayna Bazzler, a teammate of Ronda Rousey, attended a WWE tryout at the WWE Performance Centre.
Bazzler, dubbed 'The Queen of Spades', was the first pick in Team Rousey in 2013's Ultimate Fighter Series and a member of the 'Four Horsewoman' MMA stable which also comprises of Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke.
She has a 15-10 record in the Octagon and has squared off against UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes and Bethe Correia. Bazzler has had a 12-year run in MMA but lost both of her UFC fights and was then released by the company.

But the 36-year old has made the transition to professional wrestling and has been performing on the independent circuits for promotions such as Absolutely Intense Wrestling, Premier Wrestling and all-women's promotion Shimmer.
Yesterday she was one of 40 athletes selected for an invitation only try-out. Bazzler's past training experience includes learning from catch wrestling icon Billy Robinson and former UFC heavyweight champion Josh Barnett.
Her MMA teammate and close friend Ronda Rousey has stepped into a WWE ring before, making a cameo appearance alongside the Rock at Wrestlemania and taking down Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

WWE have dramatically improved the women's division in recent times to the point where the competitors are on the same level as the men when it comes to being a part of featured programming.
Bringing in someone like Bazzler would only legitimise women's wrestling even further.
