The Undertaker is one of the most popular figures in professional wrestling. He was involved in some of the greatest storylines and matches in WWE and is undoubtedly a living legend of the wrestling business.

But as he has aged, his body has become even more beaten up and it really has taken a toll on him. His appearances for WWE are now nothing more than sporadic and he has not been featured on television since his memorable Hell in a Cell match with Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania 32.

Recent pictures of the Deadman have surfaced online where he can quite clearly be seen using crutches.

WWE fans are still longing for the dream match between John Cena and The Undertaker to happen at Wrestlemania, but looking at recent photos of the 51-year old, that match might not be on the cards.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter speculated that The Undertaker may have had double knee surgery or a scope on both knees.

If the Phenom is unable to return, so be it. He's done more than enough for WWE and its fans.
