Bradley Wiggins and Team Sky have come under lots of scrutiny after the cyclists medical records were leaked by Russian hacker group the 'Fancy Bears.' Wiggins former teammate has talked about TUEs and taken some thinly veiled digs at Wiggins.

In retaliation of the Russian athletics team being banned from the Olympics last month the Fancy Bears took it upon themselves to hack into WADA's records and start leaking them everywhere. They released information about therapeutic use exemptions of certain athletes. The revelations about Bradley Wiggins' TUEs shone a very bright light on the former Tour de France winner.

Wiggins records showed that before his win in 2012 he'd had injections to help with asthma that in his book he never mentioned existed whilst he shifted the blame to Team Sky in a interview with Andrew Marr at the weekend. The Olympians teammate from that 2012 triumph and now a two time Tour winner himself Chris Froome chimed in on Twitter today.

Froome's statement doesn't directly criticise the five time Olympic gold medalist or the team they both had their Tour success with but it without doubt it touches on the subjects that both are in the spotlight for.

The Kenyan born rider's medical reports were also leaked at the same time as Froome's and he also had a TUE for asthma however he has spoken out about his in the past and didn't use the same steroid as Wiggins.
