WATCH: Floyd Mayweather Issues Heartfelt Message To Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey recently posted a message on her Instagram quoting J.K Rowling breaking her social media silence, and now the former pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather has issued a message to her following her devastating defeat at UFC 207.
The returning Rousey made her anticipated comeback last month after being dethroned of the bantamweight title in dramatic fashion to Holly Holm.
But her eagerly-awaited fight was ultimately short-lived. Amanda Nunes battered Rousey to retain the title by smashing her in just 48-seconds. And since the defeat, Rousey's future in the sport remains unclear.
Sporting figures from around the States have offered messages of support to the ex-UFC champion. NBA legends LeBron James and Kobe Bryant sent out classy messages amidst a tough time in her professional career.
And you can now add Mayweather's name to the growing list of high-profile names offering support. The supposed retired boxer called time on his unblemished career in 2015 sporting a 49-0 record.
The former welterweight champion has urged the 29-year-old to "hold your head up, stay focused, keep believing" while adding "a true champion can bounce back."

The pair don't see eye-to-eye which makes the words of advice more sincere. Class, Floyd.
