While the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor talks continue to rumble on, UFC president has detailed the Irishman's next fight and it's not opposite the 49-0 boxer.

The pair remain hellbent on fighting each other as they trade shots on social media. But Dana White fully expects his star fighters next bout to take place inside the famed Octagon rather than the squared circle.

Yet, White couldn't help but talk about the incessant rumours regarding a billion dollar fight while refuting claims he would train with Hall of Fame coach Freddie Roach. Speaking to TMZ, he said;

"I don't know where we're at. We're nowhere. We're nowhere with it. Conor wouldn't train with him (Freddie Roach), Conor has his own team and his own crew."

"The fight (against Floyd) is gonna be millions of dollars. The guy can make anywhere from 30 to 60 million bucks."

White expects the UFC lightweight champion to unify the titles when Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson tangle next weekend at UFC 209;

"I expect Conor's next fight to be in the UFC, in mixed martial arts (MMA), and it would be against the winner of Khabib and Ferguson."

David Haye vs. Tony Bellew isn't the only blockbuster fight on March 4th as the leading MMA promotion have stacked UFC 209 with not one but TWO title bouts, not to mention a heavyweight clash between Overeem vs. Hunt.

Following the imminent birth of his child, McGregor is taking a short hiatus from the sport to welcome fatherhood as he's set to return to the cage in the summer, setting up a huge fight with the winner of Khabib vs. Ferguson.

The Dagestan destroyer has compiled a ridiculous 24-0 professional record (8-0 in the UFC) and will vie for UFC gold for this first time after smashing Michael Johnson prior to McGregor clinching his second UFC title.

Meanwhile, 'El Cucuy' is also on a rich vain of form. The TUF alum is riding a 9-fight win streak and, just like Khabib, fights for UFC honours for the first time.
