WATCH: Emotional Stan Wawrinka Calls Friend Roger Federer An Asshole

Wawrinka hilariously wasn't too happy with his friend after their match.

Imagine being friends with Lionel Messi and playing against him one-on-one in football, or a mano-a-mano basketball match with your good buddy Stephen Curry or perhaps a loser buys drinks race to the bar against Usain Bolt. Now you understand how frustrating life must be for Stan Wawrinka.

Stan Wawrinka is pretty bloody good at tennis. The Swiss star is currently third in the world at the sport and you have to be good to be third in the world at anything- I bet you aren't in the top three in the world at your job! (Yes, we know I'm not, I'm probably not third best in the office!)

So far in his career the Swiss star has won three major titles at the Australian Open, French Open and US Open, a best finish of the quarters at Wimbledon for one of the world's best in quite disappointing.

The problem for Wawrinka though is he's not the best tennis player in his country, even if he is above Roger Federer in the rankings right now he's just not Federer and annoyingly for him his Davis Cup teammate beat him in the Indian Wells Masters final last night.

Speaking emotionally after the match Wawrinka gave the crowd a good laugh by calling the Fed Express an 'asshole':

Federer won a hard fought final 6-4, 7-5 against his compatriot after a week in which he also beat Rafael Nadal in straight sets. The win meant the 35 year old has now won a ridiculous 90 tour titles!

Last year Federer suffered a serious injury and took the last few months off of the season to fully recuperate. In most people's minds it meant the end of his incredible career but instead it had worked with Federer winning his 18the Grand Slam title by winning the Australian Open in February.

It must be really annoying for Stan Wawrinka, or any tennis player regularly coming up against Fed for the last 15 years.

For the spectators though it's bloody brilliant!
