"Remember the name, Wayne Rooney." might be one of the best introductions to a player that would become a household name in sports' history. For rugby fans you might well want to remember the name Siave Togoiu!
Of course a young talented New Zealander catching the eye is nothing new in rugby union. Quite frankly it seems to happen at least twice a year, usually during the Rugby Championships or autumn internationals someone comes along we've barely heard of and ends the season as one of the best players in the world.
To the rest of us, who don't support the All Blacks, it gets a little annoying. And at 17 there's every chance that in a few years, maybe even Tokyo 2019 if he progresses at a phenomenal rate, we'll be cursing the emergence of young Siave.

Togoiu was initially known for his exploits in the 13 man game but he recently played in the World Schools Sevens Championship and was named player of the tournament as he led Samoa to the final, where they lost to Australia. And based on his highlights it's no surprise:

The teenager was representing Samoa at the tournament but has previously played age based rugby league for the 'Kiwis' and is likely to change his allegiance to the All Blacks when the time comes in his 15 man code career.
Speaking to Stuff.co.nz the youngster said, "I'm surprised by all the attention. I never expected anything like this. I've been receiving calls from agents nearly every day since the tournament finished. All were prepared to sign me up, if I didn't already have a manager.

"It's exciting, I've always wanted to play professionally. This is my chance."
Papatoetoe Rugby Club director of rugby Junior Poluleuligaga, who put the Samoa team together at just a few days notice and roped Siave and his brother into playing, said:
"Siave is the hottest rugby prospect in New Zealand right now. Everyone, from agents, provinces and Super 15 franchises want his signature.

"It's his speed, footwork and balance that sets him apart."
The rest of the rugby world should be scared!
