We take a look at the best bets available when the Three Lions take on one of their most bitter rivals.

Gareth Southgate's Three Lions travel to the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund tonight to face off with one of their oldest and most bitter rivals, Germany.

England (7/2) face a tough task against a typically well-drilled Germany (8/11) side that is full to the brim with quality but they do have a good record away to their old foes, winning the last three.

The last meeting between the two sides in Germany was last year's friendly when England ran out 3-2 winners.

Toni Kroos and Mario Gomez had put Die Mannschaft 2-0 up before goals from Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and Eric Dier turned it around and sealed the win.

Form tends to gout of the window in friendlies, especially involving rivalries as big as this, and England tend to show up against big teams outside of tournaments (obviously).

In their last eleven friendlies, England have beaten top tier sides like France, Germany and Portugal and drawn with Spain and Italy. The only defeats in that time came in another game with Spain and against Holland.

We really like the look of England/draw double chance in this one at 19/20 with William Hill.

Goals are rarely in short supply when these two meet with five of the last six matches involving goals from both sides. Add to the fact that five of England's last six friendlies have gone the same way, we think the 4/6 on offer for both teams to score tonight is excellent value.

Recommended bets:

England/draw double chance - 19/20

Both teams to score - 4/6
