It looks set to be a cracker!

Two of the most successful teams in England, Liverpool and Manchester United, face off in the eagerly awaited North-West derby on Monday night at Anfield.

Liverpool are in fine form, having won their last four games, and thus go in to the match as favourites. United ,meanwhile, have had a 'topsy-turvy' season so far, winning four and losing twice.

Despite not being in as impressive league form, the Red Devils have won the last four Premier League meetings between the two sides. They took the three points when the sides last met, winning 1-0, thanks to a solitary Wayne Rooney goal.

However, Liverpool won the last meeting between the two at Anfield; as goals from Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino helped them to a 2-0 victory in the Europa League in March.

Team News

Midfielders Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum remain doubts for Liverpool. Dejan Lovren and Nathaniel Clyne are fit though, despite having withdrawn from their international squads due to injuries.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will have a fully fit squad to choose from, including Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Shaw has been out with a groin strain, while Mkhitaryan hasn't featured since being substituted in the Manchester Derby in September.
