This Saturday's early kick off is a real classic of both teams fighting it out at both ends of the table.

Despite still waiting for their first Premier League win of 2017, Liverpool remain firmly in the title race, seven points adrift from leaders Chelsea. Whereas Swansea will arrive at Anfield cemented to the bottom of the table, but only due to goal difference.

The Swans currently have 15 points, only a point away from Crystal Palace who sit nervously just above the relegation zone. Four places separated by just one point highlights the importance of every result.

With Paul Clement only recently coming in and having faced Arsenal last weekend, it's safe to say it has not been an easy start to life in South Wales.

Swansea started that game well. They defended with a strict structure and proved to be difficult to break down, whilst often posing as a threat to Arsenal's defence on more than one occasion.

Despite this, the second half can't be ignored and Swansea must have a stronger mentality and higher concentration levels in the latter stages of the game to stop goals flooding in.

This has been their biggest down fall this season after conceding 26 goals, the worst record in the league.

The importance of this factor increases when playing Liverpool. They have hit the back of the net 49 times this campaign, the most in the Premier League.

Quick, fluent, and devastating attacks have punished multiple teams, and Swansea could quite easily be their next victims.

So, a more comfortable bet would be a Liverpool win, simply down to the difference in class between the two squads.

Also, the fact that Liverpool have dropped just 4 points at home this season, makes this game that much harder for Swansea to get a result. BetVictor offer 2/9 for a Liverpool win.

However, if you feel that Swansea will have the mentality to maintain a rigid defence and punish a weak Liverpool defence with clinical attacks, BetVictor off 6/1 for a draw.

With both teams having vulnerable defences, the 4/9 on offer for over 2.5 goals would be a wise move.
