The last time Tottenham and Man City came together, Spurs produced a sensational performance to end Manchester City's unbeaten run of 11 matches in all competitions and showed the rest of the league how to beat City in style.

Since then, it's easy to see City's season has veered off course. Their inconsistent performances have inevitably lead to another four losses and three draws, leaving them fifth, trailing leaders Chelsea by ten points.

Problems are continuing to mount for manager Pep Guardiola in Manchester, as only five teams in the league have a worse record of just four clean sheets. Despite this, each game fails to show any signs of improvement, as the defence only appears to look more precarious and vulnerable.

In a rather different situation, Tottenham are in brilliant form and have won seven games in a row, sweeping those sides aside with power and often with a hint of ease.

The more recent use of the 3-4-3 formation, has allowed Alli and Eriksen to share a number 10 role to clinically cut open opposition's defence, creating space for themselves and other teammates.

Over 1.5 Spurs' team goals looks a fantastic price at 17/10 with Betvictor.

The game back in October, proved to be a pivotal moment in both team's seasons; the start of City's inconsistency and the spark that ignited Spur's season, after an unconvincing start to the season.

However, on Saturday, the Etihad could witness a far more important result. A win for Tottenham, means they continue to gain momentum in their title challenge. On the other hand, City achieving all three points is essential to help compete for a top 4 finish and will exert much needed confidence throughout the club.

Overall I feel Tottenham's recent form and the large contrast in confidence will be too much for Man City, but City's ability to salvage points at the Etihad recently could earn them a draw. BetVictor offer 13/5 for a draw.

If you feel that Man City's recent performances will not live up to the standard of Tottenham's; BetVictor are also offering 13/5 for an away win.
