We preview the Group F curtain closer between group leaders Hungary and Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal.

It's definitely fair to say that this tournament has been incredibly frustrating for Cristiano Ronaldo and the people of Portugal thus far, probably even more frustrating than watching Jordan Henderson fail to land a cross inside the 18-yard box for 95 minutes.

The 3-time Ballon d'Or winner has failed to inspire his Portuguese teammates or set the world alight during Euro 2016 and now has one last chance to drag them into the last 16 of a tournament in which only 8 of the 24 sides will be going out at the group stages.

Hungary are no pushovers though. Bernd Stork has assembled a solid unit that defends well and attacks with pace and precision. A 2-0 victory over 'dark horses' Austria was followed by a 1-1 draw with Iceland in which their attacking display in the second half probably deserved more than just a point; this was enough to see them qualify with 4 points thanks to results in other groups.

Portugal have had more shots per game than any team at the tournament (24.5) and have an average of 66% possession - only bettered by Spain and Germany - but have failed to make that dominance count and as a result have the worst conversion rate of any side to have scored at Euro 2016.

We're undecided about how Ronaldo will play tonight, as we believe he's going to be pivotal for how the game is played; one thing that is for sure is the Hungarian defence are going to do everything they can to remain solid, so I'm going to risk backing Hungary or Draw Double Chance at 7/4. This is huge odds for a side that I have been very impressed with so far to just not lose when they're safe in the knowledge that a point is probably enough to take them through as group winners.
