Tiger Woods is hoping he can bring his red-hot form to Paris as the 2018 Ryder Cup tees off on Friday.
Woods won his first PGA Tour tournament in five years, 1,876 days to be exact, at the weekend as he saw off Europe's Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose to scoop the Tour Championship.
The 42-year-old has a disappointing record at the Ryder Cup, not having won it as a player since 1999.

However, Woods is aiming for victory at Le Golf National, speaking about his previous experiences in the tournament, he said: "It's certainly not something that I would have really enjoyed, and I've really liked seeing.
"We haven't done well. My overall Ryder Cup record, not having won as a player since 1999, is something that hopefully we can change.
"We haven't won as a US Squad in 25 years on foreign soil, so hopefully that will change this week as well."
Woods then took aim at McIlroy and Rose claiming he enjoyed beating them in the Tour Championship and indicated he will be victorious again come the Ryder Cup.

"It was a blast because I had to beat Rory head-up in the final group. Rosey was tied with Rory," said Woods.
He added: "These guys had both ascended to No.1 players in the world, they have won major championships, they have won golf tournaments all around the world, and I have not really played a whole lot of golf the last few years."
Woods also sent a warning to the younger members of the European team who claimed they wanted to face the former world number one in Paris, he said: "The younger guys were on their way in when I was on my way out.

"They had never really played against me when I was playing well.
"When my game is there, I feel I've always been a tough person to beat.
"They have been jokingly been saying, 'We want to go against you'. All right. Here you go."
The controversial golfer is 13/2 to be the top USA points scorer, while he is 12/1 to be the top points scorer for the whole tournament.

His odds of playing all five games in the tournament have been boosted by Paddy Power from 13/8 to 2/1.
