Boxing fans are in for a real treat this weekend when two of the of the sport's most talented competitors go head to head in a super-lightweight unification bout in Las Vegas.

Both WBO title holder Terence Crawford and WBC holder Viktor Postol travel to the MGM Grand with unblemished records and you can bank on fireworks when the two finally clash in this eagerly anticipated showdown.

Crawford, 28-0 (20) is no stranger to British fight fans following his points victory over Scotland's Ricky Burns back in 2014. Since that cold March night in Glasgow, Crawford has gone from strength to strength and notable wins over Yuriorkis Gamboa and Raymundo Beltran have pushed the Nebraskan in to many fight fan's pound-for pound top ten.

Many believe Terence "Bud" Crawford could be the natural successor to Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao and has the potential to fill the massive gap they left since they 'retired' from the sport.

The man in the opposite corner, Viktor Postal, will be his toughest opponent yet and a win against the Ukrainian would certainly cement Crawford as a bonafide pound-for-pound star.

The Freddie Roach coached Postol, 28-0 (12), surprised a lot of people when he knocked out the hard-hitting Argentinian Lucas Matthysse for the vacant WBC title in his last fight and the 32 year-old will be confident he can pull off another upset here.

Crawford, though mostly an orthodox fighter, has often switched to southpaw in some of his fights and it won't be surprising to see him adapt the stance at certain points in this fight in a bid to counteract Postol's significant reach advantage.

'Bud' is fast, powerful and a phenomenal boxer and although Postol is as tough as they come and is certainly the bigger of the two fighters, I think that Crawford is just the better all-round boxer and will have too much for his adversary on the night.

My money would be on an even scrap in the early stages before Crawford comes on stronger in the middle rounds before stopping Postol in the mid to late rounds. The 100/30 that SkyBet are offering on Terence Crawford winning between rounds seven and twelve is the real gem in this one.
