TheODDSbible's 57/1 League Cup Acca

We like the look of a couple of giant-killings tonight.

The next two days sees the return of the League Cup under its new branding from the 'EFL'. Despite there being a fair few favourites, we're backing a couple of the games to provide some upsets.

Crystal Palace v Blackpool - Crystal Palace

With Christian Benteke signing from Liverpool this week, Palace look likely to continue their streak of never having lost to Blackpool in a cup competition. The record signing will be coming up against a side who have been on a slippery slope both on and off the pitch since relegation from the Premier League.

Millwall v Nottingham Forest - Millwall

Despite being the lower league opposition Millwall pose a threat to Forest. They have had a relatively consistent start to the season with 7 points. Forest have conceded 10 goals in their first 4 games and seem vulnerable at the back.

Blackburn Rovers v Crewe - Crewe

The arrival of Owen Coyle (or Agent Coyle to Burnley fans), hasn't seen the fortunes of the East Lancastrians improve, failing to register a win so far this season. Meanwhile, Crewe remain unbeaten (1 Win, 3 Draws) in League 2, so think an upset could be on the cards.

Chelsea v Bristol Rovers - Chelsea

Chelsea seem a complete banker to win, even if Conte does the inevitable and plays his second string you'd expect them to beat Rovers. Rovers have had a less than impressive start to their League One campaign with just one win from four in the league.

Scunthorpe v Bristol City - Scunthorpe

The complete opposite of Bristol City, Scunthorpe have started strongly in their league campaign. With 10 points and 12 goals they lie at the top of the League One charts, whereas The Robins have scored just four. We think Scunthorpe's potency might prove too much for a toothless City.
