TheODDSBible's Champions League Betting Preview

Here's our pick of the best bets available in tonight's Champions League action.

AS Monaco v Bayern Leverkusen

If current form is anything to go by, then this game shouldn't be short of goals. Monaco's last six games in all competitions have gone over 2.5 goals, whilst nine of Leverkusen's last ten away from home have resulted in the same outcome.

Recommended bet: Over 2.5 goals 37/40

CSKA Moscow v Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs travel to the Russian capital hoping to make amends for their 2-1 defeat to Monaco last time out in the Champions League and they'll be encouraged by the fact that they have only failed to score away from home once in their last ten trips away from White Hart Lane.

They will have to be wary of the threat that CSKA pose however, who in contrast to their North London counterparts, have scored in an impressive 19 of their last 20 games at home in all competitions.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score 31/40

Leicester City v FC Porto

Despite a shaky start to the domestic season, the Premier League Champions made a dream start to life in the Champions League with a 3-0 win over Club Brugge.

They face a much tougher task against Portuguese side Porto tonight but the Foxes are in impressive goal scoring form at the King Power at the moment and have only failed to score twice at home in their last 15. Porto are similarly decent at finding the back of the net on their travels, having found it 12 times in the last 15 away in all competitions.

Recommended bet: Both teams to score 31/40

Sporting Lisbon v Legia Warszawa

Sporting had a tough test in their opening Champions League fixture of the season against current Champions Real Madrid but tonight's clash with Legia Warszawa should be a lot less daunting.

Aside from the defeat to Madrid, Sporting have won five of their other six games so far this season, scoring an impressive 14 goals in that time.

Legia, on the other hand, are struggling at the moment. They're currently a disappointing 14th in their domestic league and their last Champions League outing was a 6-0 hammering at the hands of Borussia Dortmund.

Recommended bet: Sporting Lisbon (-1 handicap) 13/20

Sevilla v Lyon

Sevilla go in to this intriguing tie as the betting favourites but their defence is questionable. The Spanish side have conceded 11 in their last six Champions League games while tonight's opponents have only failed to score once in their last five in the same competition. Their last outing was a 3-0 rout over Dinamo Zagreb.

Recommended bet: Lyon over 0.5 team goals 1/2
