Burton v Birmingham

Burton Albion face Birmingham City who bounced back from a 3-1 defeat to Forest by putting four past bottom club Rotherham midweek. Burton sit 19th in the league whilst their visitors are currently occupying one of the play off places sitting in 5th.

The Blues have just one loss on their travels this season, however they have also only had two wins.

Burton meanwhile, have only lost twice at the Pirelli so far this season, meaning we could be in for a close affair.

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score 5/6

Aston Villa v Fulham

Steve Bruce has four points from six so far as Villa manager, most significantly picking up Villa's first away win in over a year.

Saturday's game at Villa park will be a close one. Villa's unbeaten home form comes up against Fulham's unbeaten away form.

Fulham have failed to score just once in that time, with Villa scoring in all of their home games so far- but have kept just one clean sheet.

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score 4/6

Brentford v Barnsley

Brentford remain unbeaten at home this season with four wins and two draws.

Barnsley go into this one with just one point from six games and the Tykes fans will be forgiven for thinking their chances are slim going into this one.

Brentford will want to continue their blistering home form alive as they currently sit just two points outside of the playoffs.

Suggested Bet: Brentford Win 17/20

Bristol City v Blackburn

Bristol City have won four out of their six home games this season with their only loss at Ashton Gate coming at the hands of Newcastle.

Blackburn on the other hand have lost four of their six away games, with their only win being against a struggling Derby County. Bristol City are just one point outside the play offs and will want to take advantage of any slip ups from the top six.

Suggested Bet: Bristol City win 4/5

Huddersfield v Derby

Huddersfield have let the pressure of sitting at the top get to them lately and now suddenly find themselves in fourth spot, three points off the top after holding that position for much of the beginning of the season.

The Terrier's first loss at the John Smith Stadium came last week, and until then they had a 100% home record. Derby will be no easy game for the West Yorkshire club. Newly appointed Steve McClaren has a win and a draw so far, keeping clean sheets in both games.

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 Match Goals 8/15

Newcastle v Ipswich

Newcastle are sitting at the top of the table, a point clear of Norwich. The Magpies are unbeaten in five and have taken 12 points from 18 at St James's Park.

Mick McCarthy's Ipswich have only managed to score two goals away from home this season, winning just one of those at Derby.

Benitez's men have scored 13 goals in five games at home, and with Dwight Gayle bang in form it could be a long afternoon for Ipswich.

Suggested Bet: Over 1.5 Newcastle goals 4/6

Norwich v Preston

Norwich may be thinking they're playing Preston at the wrong time. The Lilywhites are unbeaten in five league games, against tough opposition as well. They took a point from Birmingham and Brighton away, and beat Villa and Huddersfield at home. To get through those fixtures unbeaten is a fantastic achievement.

The Canaries have a very good home record but they have conceded in all of their last five games at Carrow Road, despite winning.

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 Match goals and BTTS 11/8

Rotherham v Reading

Rotherham are rock bottom of the Championship with -18 goal difference and are quickly becoming this seasons Bolton. Newly appointed Kenny Jackett will aim to look for some points as he prepares to keep his side up who are already five points away from second bottom Wigan.

Reading visit the New York stadium with a mixed away record. They have two wins and a draw on the road, keeping just one clean sheet in all away games.

The Millers meanwhile, have actually only failed to score once at home - against Newcastle.

Suggested Bet: Reading No clean sheet 4/11

Sheff Wed v QPR

Sheffield Wednesday's bright start to the season sees them taking the final play-off spot, but after becoming the first side to take points at Huddersfield this season they could only manage a point at Cardiff.

QPR meanwhile are unbeaten in five and have scored in all six of their away fixtures so far. This along with Wednesday having only kept one home clean sheet since their opening game suggests QPR could get on the scoresheet here.

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score 10/11

Wigan v Brighton

Wigan face a tough test this weekend as they host 3rd placed Brighton who have been beaten just once away from home, against... you guessed it, Newcastle.

With two wins out of six at the DW, Wigan's chances of three points are slim on Saturday however they have proved a tough side to beat with just one loss in those six games. A tough one to call but if Brighton want to get promotion this term they need to beat teams like Wigan.

Suggested Bet: Brighton Draw no bet 4/6

Wolves v Leeds

Only one point separates these two sides going into this weekend's game and a win for either side could be tricky.

Wolves have just two wins at the Molineux so far, whilst Leeds also have just two wins on the road.

This game really could go either way, which suggests it should be a close game with very little to separate the two sides.

Suggested Bet: Wolves Draw no bet 8/15

Nottm Forest v Cardiff

The final Championship game of the weekend is Forest v Cardiff and the Forest faithful have seen an immense amount of goals fly in from both sides at the City Ground.

Cardiff are no strangers to conceding on the road with two against Burton and Fulham and three against Norwich and Preston. This game has the makings of a cracker with plenty of goals.

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 Match Goals 17/20
