Manchester United v Southampton

Jose Mourinho's opening game as Manchester United manager went pretty much perfectly, adding to a good start by Ibrahimovic after netting his first premier league goal. He'll be looking to add to this against a Southampton side who could only draw 1-1 with Watford last weekend.

Man Utd look like a side who, as long as they stay consistent, could challenge for the top 4 this season. The question is, will Paul Pogba be making his first appearance since his return to the Red Devils?

Bournemouth are no pushovers at home, and Man Utd managed to net 3 past them. Southampton just don't look as strong as they have done in previous seasons. They have had to get used to new managers every few seasons and this could be a tough campaign for The Saints.

They will be hoping at least a point against Man United however it could be a tall order.

Suggested bet: Over 1.5 Man U goals: 8/13

Burnley v Liverpool

Liverpool provided us with one of the best games I've seen in the premier league in a long time last weekend. They've showed their intentions clearly for this campaign and are facing a Burnley who struggled against Swansea last weekend, losing 1-0.

The Reds will want to use the win against Arsenal as motivation for this game and to try pick up 3 points. Coutinho is in extremely good form, netting a brace last weekend in the 4-3 thriller.

Personally I can't see Burnley finding a way past Liverpool. Burnley struggled in Swansea's half last weekend and, combining this with Liverpool's momentum from a win at The Emirates, could Mae Saturday turn out to be a thumping.

Suggested bet: Liverpool win: 1/2

Stoke v Man City

Although Man City won 2-1 against Sunderland last weekend, their goals came from a penalty and an own goal, so Pep Guardiola will not see this as a strong victory. Their game this weekend is against a Stoke side who opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw against newly promoted Middlesborough. With The Potters defeating Man City 2-0 in this fixture last season, they will want to try and secure at least a point.

Man City are still without Joe Hart, with him most likely departing before the transfer window closes. There's still no Kompany, Gundogan, Sane and possibly Yaya Toure. Stoke will look to capitalise on these absences.

Suggested bet: Both teams to score: 4/5

Swansea v Hull

Both of these teams managed to put 3 points on the board on the opening weekend of the EPL, with Hull defeating the current champions Leicester City and Swansea defeating newly promoted Burnley.

A late goal from Leroy Fer was enough to secure 3 points for The Swans, however the game as a whole was not one to write home about. Swansea will want to improve on their attacking threat, however they know that Hull will not be easy to break down.

I cannot see there being many goals in this game, and a 1-1 draw could be a likely result. Hull will be looking to add to their winning start and will see this game as one where they need to pick up at least a point if they want any hope of staying in the Premier League for another season.

Suggested bet: Swansea no clean sheet: 8/11

Tottenham v Crystal Palace

Both of these teams struggled on the opening weekend of the season, with Spurs coming from behind to secure a point against Everton, and Palace losing 1-0 to West Brom. Tottenham will look to play like they did last season and seal 3 points against a side who haven't won an away game in their last 11.

Losing at home is not how Palace wanted to start their season, especially to West Brom. They will want to get some points on the board, however I think Tottenham will be too much for them to handle. Lloris is injured, however Vorm will look to prove his worth between the sticks.

Suggested bet: Tottenham win: 1/2

Watford v Chelsea

Watford would have bee happy to take a point from their opening encounter with Southampton, with a 1-1 draw being the final score after Watford went down to 10 men for the last 15. They go up against a Chelsea side who secured a close 2-1 victory against West Ham, however The Blues looked by far the better team.

Deeney and Ighalo will be looking to get on the score sheet, however that will be tough against a new and improved Antonio Conte side. Hazard actually scored, which may have been from the penalty spot, but he still scored. Chelsea should win this comfortably.

Suggested bet: Over 1.5 Chelsea goals 8/11

West Brom v Everton

West Brom managed to get their campaign off to a winning start, with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace. They come up against an Everton side who drew 1-1 with 3rd place finishers of last season Tottenham Hotspur. Rondon got the winning goal in The Baggies' win and he will be looking to add to his tally.

Everton couldn't hold onto their lead against Spurs, and this fixture will most likely be another close game. I doubt there will be many goals, however I can see the home side bagging at least one.

Suggested bet: Everton no clean sheet: 1/2

Leicester v Arsenal

Leicester got their campaign off to the worst start possible, with a 2-1 defeat to newly promoted Hull City. They will be hugely disappointed with this result and will be looking to bag a few goals against an Arsenal side who lost 4-3 at home to Liverpool. Both teams are looking to challenge for a Champions League spot, so will be looking for points.

Mahrez has eliminated any doubt regarding his departure by signing a new deal, so this should fill The Foxes with the confidence that they can bounce back from last weekend's shock result. Arsenal know this will be a tough fixture, and could be in for another exciting game. Both teams will most likely find the net, and after that they will both be going for the win.

Suggested bet: Both teams to score: 4/7

Sunderland v Middlesborough

Sunderland started their campaign off to a losing start with a 2-1 defeat to Man City. However, Man City's goals came from a penalty and an own goal, so they did not concede a goal in open play. David Moyes will take this as somewhat a positive, and has now brought in another Man United player, Adnan Januzaj. Januzaj and Defoe could make an impact on their opponents. The Black Cats will see this fixture as one where they need to pick up points if they are going to stay in the Premier League after this season.

Middlesborough will be happy to have picked up a point in their opening game against Stoke. They spend the transfer window adapting their squad for what they hope will be the first of many EPL seasons. It takes time for new players to gel together but Middlesbrough as a team do look fairly strong. Points against teams like Sunderland are ones they need if they are looking to finish mid-table.

Suggested bet: Both teams to score: 1/1

West Ham v Bournemouth

The Hammers will be hugely disappointed with their performance against Chelsea during their 2-1 defeat. Even though it was a close result, they were out-played and will want to secure some points against a Bournemouth side who were comfortable beaten 3-1 by Manchester United.

Bournemouth started last season amazingly and were safe fairly early in the season, with them being one of the favourites to be relegated. However, they seem to have carried their dismal end to the season into this one, and will hope that the return of Callum Wilson can change their recent form.

Suggested bet: West Ham win 8/11
