It has been a long time coming but finally, it has been confirmed that Nate Diaz will fight in the UFC once again on November 3rd.

The 33-year-old has been out of action for two years, with his last fight coming at UFC 202 against Conor McGregor in August, 2016, but the Stockton-born fighter will return to the Octagon to face Dustin Poirier in the co-main event.

Diaz lost that fight via majority decision against Notorious and will be looking for revenge later this year.

Madison Square Garden, the grandest stage of them all, will be the venue for his big comeback, as he looks to make a statement once more against the lightweight challenger.

Diaz has been relatively quiet in recent months, minus lighting up a joint from his shirt pocket at UFC 126, so his eagerly awaited return will surely pull in the punters in New York City.

How stacked does this card look, though:

UFC 230 is going to be insane!
