Jamie Carragher holds nothing back in assessing Jurgen Klopp and Mo Salah row as 'daft' claim made

Jamie Carragher has once again weighed in on the argument between Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah.

Jamie Carragher has once again weighed in on the explosive row between Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah.

Klopp and Salah clashed on the touchline as Liverpool dropped points at West Ham United on Saturday.

The Reds played out a 2-2 draw with the Hammers, but the incident between Klopp and Salah grabbed all the headlines.

New footage of the Liverpool star shows what he did at the final whistle which could anger fans further.

At the time of the argument between Klopp and Salah, Carragher had his say on social media.

The Liverpool legend has shared another take on the touchline spat as he called the Egyptian 'daft' for what he said in the mixed zone.

He wrote: "MO Salah & Jurgen Klopp are both @LFC legends. We don’t need to take sides!

"Salah is frustrated & angry with Jurgen that he’s not playing & at that moment didn’t want to fully embrace the boss, Jurgen understandably took exception."

Carragher added: "MO was daft with his comment in the mixed zone but lets let them sort it out & enjoy the last few weeks together. They’ve been a massive help to each other in all that’s been achieved at the club!"

After the game, Klopp insisted the matter was closed following a conversation in the dressing room.

He said: "We spoke about it in the dressing room and that is done for me."

Asked if he thought the 31-year-old was also ready to move on from the incident, he replied: "That was my impression."

This season, Salah has an impressive 24 goals in all competitions, including 17 league goals.

But he was unable to improve his goal tally against West Ham as the club's Premier League title aspirations were dealt another blow.

Liverpool resume their league campaign next Sunday as they host Tottenham.
