Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr preparing big opening bid for Man Utd player who is 'open' to leaving

Al Nassr have reportedly opened talks with the representatives of a Manchester United star.

Al Nassr are stepping up their interest for a Manchester United player, who is open to leaving the club at the end of the season

Clubs in Saudi Arabia are looking to recruit new talent during the summer transfer window, with Mohamed Salah linked with a stunning move away from Liverpool.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr are among the teams hoping to snap up new talent this summer and, according to reports, they are keeping tabs on a Man United star.

Per Caught Offside, Al Nassr have already held talks with the representatives of Casemiro, who is believed to be open to leaving England.

The report states that the Saudi outfit side are readying a bid of around £40 million for the veteran midfielder.

And they are prepared to hand him a three-year contract.

Casemiro, who signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at Man United with a option for an additional year's extension, has yet to decide on his future ahead of the season coming to an end.

But he could leave the club as part of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's huge squad overhaul.

The 32-year-old shone in his first season at Old Trafford, making 51 appearances in all competitions as he inspired his side to Carabao Cup glory.

However, his performances have been below par this season as he was slammed for his outing against Crystal Palace.

Casemiro was subject to fierce criticism in wake of the Red Devils' embarrassing 4-0 defeat at Selhurst Park.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Jamie Carragher urged him to leave the Premier League for the Saudi Pro League.

He said: "Casemiro should know tonight as an experienced player that he should only have another three games left at the top level - the next two [Premier] league games and the [FA] cup final - then he should be thinking I need to go to the MLS or Saudi."

A transfer to Al Nassr would see Casemiro reunite with Ronaldo following their spells together at Real Madrid and Man United.
