PSG legend Édouard Cissé has labelled Neymar a 'spoilt brat' who has been 'lost' since joining the club in 2017.
The Brazilian was substituted in the Parisians' shock 2-0 defeat to Rennes on Sunday in what Mauricio Pochettino defended as a purely tactical change.
However Cissé, who played for the French giants between 1997 and 2007, believes Pochettino is better off without the 29 year old, whom he says was more suited to life at the Camp Nou.

"At Barcelona there was a structure," Cissé told Le Parisien, as quoted by Marca.
"(Neymar) had a cleaner style of play, although he dribbled more. His job was to break the defensive line, make the difference and pass to General Messi. He did it so well that he became his 'alter ego'.
"In Paris, they gave him the keys and they let him do what he wanted. In one moment, he was lost. He is a great player, no one can dispute that but he has become a spoilt brat and he bosses everyone around."

Having signed a new five year contract in May, it's unlikely that Cissé's wish for Neymar to leave his former club will be granted. Statistically speaking, the latter has enjoyed a very successful spell in the French capital, scoring 88 times in 123 appearances and winning three Ligue 1 titles.
Rumours of a move back to Catalonia two summers ago appeared to be sour the relations between the player and his club but prior to yesterday's match, things seem rosy for Neymar once again.
Pochettino will need the ex-Santos man if they are to go one step further than the last season and lift the Ligue 1 title come spring 2021. Whilst yesterday's defeat does not affect their standing in the table, it did highlight some of the problems the Argentinian's side possess, especially their lack of chemistry in the final third.
"No one likes to lose," he admitted after the match,as quoted by Metro. "Without understanding what Rennes have done, we are frustrated and disappointed not to have taken our chances and to concede these goals.

"These situations leave us bitter and disappointed. We didn't start the game well but then we had 25-30 minutes of good quality. It was a shame not to score.
"We took two psychological hits, just before half-time and just after. The match afterwards was open, even if we created chances. We had a hard time after that. Rennes obviously gained confidence.
"And with us, there was frustration."
