Mauricio Pochettino has finally admitted he was staggered that Harry Kane took corners for England during their shambolic Euro 2016 tournament.
It surely wouldn't be long before he spoke out, and now he finally has. Maybe putting a striker who scores 25 goals for his club on corner duty gets to us all.
The Tottenham boss shares a somewhat mutual view on the disaster, saying: "I think Harry is a top goal scorer, so why is he taking free-kicks or corners?" - probably the exact words said (or belted) out at TV screens across the country in June.
Pochettino was on holiday in the Bahamas with family during England's embarrassing tournament - what a way to ruin your holiday!

The Argentine then gave some plain and simple advice, possibly to future England managers also thinking of sticking Kane on corners: "You need to stay in the box, not out."
