12 months after making his debut in the Scottish Cup, 17-year-old Tony Gallacher has gone from playing against amatuer side Fraserburgh to being linked with a sensational move to FC Barcelona.

Gallagher, who is also being chased by Manchester United, Everton and Stoke, has attracted the interest of Catalan giants Barca, and the club would consider him as an ideal inclusion into their B side.

Chelsea are another club who have expressed an interest. A scout from Stamford Bridge has already watched the 17-year-old in action this season and will continue to monitor his situation at The Bairns.

The young left-back has been tipped for greatness by many, and after breaking into the first team this season, Falkirk boss Peter Houston told SunSport last month that he knows Gallacher won't be at the club forever:

"I've had phone calls from all sorts of people around all sorts of different clubs asking about Tony. Word gets about and scouts swarm.

"People have asked me what it would take to get him but I tell them they'll have to put in a bid and then we'll see.

"Falkirk will always need to be a selling club but we're also in a good financial position so it would have to be an offer that is too good to turn down."

Gallagher has been at the club since he was 10 years old, progressing through the Falkirk Academy then FVFA.

The youngster has also starred for Scotland Under 17's in various international competition, but will the dream of Barcelona become reality?

'Neymar to Messi, and Tony Gallagher nets with a stunning 25-yard strike.'

Who knows...
