Zlatan Ibrahimovic's form for MLS side LA Galaxy has been very good but will it lead the former Barcelona forward to return to Europe in the off-season. He's responded to the rumours.
Like him or not Zlatan Ibrahimovic was one of the best strikers in the world at his peak, winning titles wherever he went whether it was in Sweden, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France and even in England, helping Manchester United win the League Cup and Europa League.
It took the Swede far too long to end up in England, finally joining Manchester United after, becoming PSG's leading scorer, at the age of 34.
Despite being past his peak the former AC and Inter Milan front man still managed to make a big impact at Old Trafford. He bagged 28 goals in his first season before injury struck.

The injury at the end of his first season was a blow and he never got back to his best, even when United re-signed him, and he eventually moved to the MLS. He's done brilliantly in America, bagging 21 goals in 25 games.
That has led to rumours he could return to Europe, with United linked, on a short term loan in January. Speaking to Sky Sports the 37 year old seemed to end those rumours, saying:
"I think I'm in a situation where I need to have a good balance between work and rest.
"Because I came back from injury and because of my age and the load I'm putting in during training.

"It's not what I have been thinking about because we still have two games, hopefully we make the playoffs."
Romelu Lukaku's form upfront for United has led to some believing that the Red Devils could do with another option in front of goal but it seems it won't be Zlatan.
The news will also come as a blow to another former club. AC Milan had also been linked with a move with current striker Gonzalo Higuain even admitting it was something he wanted.
Higuain said, "I can only say that I like to share the field with the great players, and he is a great player."

It looks like United fans won't be the only ones disappointed but we can't say we'd blame Zlatan for having a break, he is nearly 40 after all.
