NXT women's champ Rhea Ripley has admitted that her WWE rivalry with NXT UK star Toni Storm will rekindle in the future.

The 23-year-old WWE superstar clashed with Storm in 2018 and successfully won the inaugural NXT UK Women's Championship.

And Storm, 24, would avenge her loss the following year as she defeated Ripley for the championship at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool.

Ripley successfully defended her NXT Women's Championship against her fierce rival at Worlds Collide last month.

When SPORTbible asked the NXT star if Storm was the 'Lex Luthor to her Superman,' she responded: "I mean, like I guess so [laughs].

"We've been at it together for a while now and going from Australia to coming here in NXT and still having that rivalry, so I guess so. I think so.

"She keeps following me around [laughs], so everywhere I go she seems to pop up. So I'm going to say yes [laughs]."

Ripley, who had a sensational run with WWE in 2019, has had her back-and-forth feud with Storm replicate the intense rivalry Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks once shared.

When SPORTbible asked if it was the equivalent rivalry for NXT, the 'Nightmare' responded: "Yeah, I think so, especially because I feel like every time I get to win a title, she's always the first one there. Always! So, yeah. Definitely, definitely!"

The NXT women's champ successfully defended her title against Bianca Belair at NXT TakeOver: Portland last weekend.

And Ripley will now face Charlotte, who won the women's Royal Rumble match, at WrestleMania 36 in April.

However, the inaugural NXT UK women's champ fully believes that she will cross paths with Storm again.

"It'll happen again. No doubt," Ripley said.

Ripley has already made her mark in WWE by becoming the first female Australian champion in the company's long-running history.

And the NXT star, real name Demi Bennett, is also the first woman to hold the top championship prize in both the US and UK brands of NXT.

Ripley admitted that it is "crazy" that people look up to her when she is so young, but she stressed the importance of spending time with her fans.

"It's crazy to think that there are people out there that look up to me, especially 'cause I'm only 23 years old," she explained.

"Like, I'm not used to people looking up to me but I do what I do in the ring, but when I meet the fans and all that I'm always like humble, I'll always sign things.

"I know they look up to us and they dream about the day of meeting us and they want our help in all of this stuff. I try and always be there for them.

"I've got a couple of people that message me every now and then on social media and they're like, 'Can you please help me with this? I feel really down.' And every now and then I'll send something back to them like, 'Don't worry. Keep going, you got it.'

"Because everyone needs to remember that we're just people, too, and we've been through the struggles and we've made it out of those struggles and we are where we are now. And they can do exactly the same thing and that's one thing that I always push: I always push that you should always be yourself.

"So to have little girls and, like, little boys and even adults look up to me -- which is very strange, but amazing -- it's a really cool feeling and it makes me really warm on the inside."
