Chris Eubank Jnr Calls Out Gennady Golovkin

Will the fight happen?

Chris Eubank Jnr certainly has his dad's ability to speak his mind and his confidence, if he has his dad's boxing skill then he'll go far. He fights again this weekend but he's clearly looking ahead already.

In his last fight Eubank Jnr won the British Middleweight title by beating Nick Blackwell in the controversial fight that saw the end of Blackwell's fight career. On Saturday the new champion defends his title against Tom Doran as part of the undercard to Anthony Joshua.

However the man with only one loss on his professional record, to fellow Brit Billy Joe Saunders, is looking past that fight and has called out on of the most dangerous men in boxing at the moment, Gennady Golovkin on Twitter.

Having previously been part of the Matchroom boxing stable, run by Eddie Hearn, Eubank is back in the fold and Hearn was recently very positive about the fight happening, as long as the 26 year-old gets past Doran.

GGG is the current IBF, WBC and WBA after Saul Alvarez dropped the WBC belt for essentially avoiding the undefeated Kazakhstani.

Saunders had also reportedly been offered a fight with Golovkin but refused it and then came out to moan about wanting to fight the man who is third on The Ring's pound-for-pound list just after he'd announced his last fight.
