Gennady Golovkin Ready For Chris Eubank Jr Fight

Will it go ahead?

Gennady Golovkin is a man the whole boxing world wants to fight and equally doesn't want to fight. The Kazakh is the current IBF, WBA, WBC middleweight champion and his next fight could be against the British champion.

Golovkin was recently avoided by Saul "Canelo" Alvarez who dropped his title to undefeated boxer rather than arrange a meeting with him. Canelo's representatives claimed it was so they could negotiate the deal without a time restraint but has since set up a bout with Liverpool's Liam Smith for a light middleweight title.

Meanwhile GGG looks set to face another Brit, Chris Eubank Jr, with the British champion calling out the 34 year-old on a couple of occasions on social media. Now GGG has revealed that his part of the deal is done.

The 2004 Olympic silver medalist went to a 35-0 record when he beat Dominic Wade back in April, a win that should have led him to face Canelo when he beat Amir Khan.

Eubank recently beat Tom Doran in his first defence of the British title that he beat Nick Blackwell for in March.

Will the two fight?
