Red Bull motorsport advisor Dr Helmut Marko has clarified his future and confirmed he will be staying on in his role in the Formula 1 paddock and not be suspended.
Marko is the energy drinks company's motorsport advisor for its two Formula 1 teams, Red Bull Racing and the newly rebranded RB team.
Question marks had emerged over the future of the 80-year-old Austrian remaining in his position as the constructors' champions appear to be in chaos off the track.

On the track, Red Bull have been a cut above in recent years with the team winning the last two constructors' championships and clinching a one-two at the opener of the 2024 season.
It was previously reported that Marko was facing the prospect of being suspended over an ongoing investigation.
The probes relates to 'various media leaks that have taken place' since it was reported that Red Bull team principal Christian Horner was under investigation over allegations of inappropriate behaviour.

Horner, who consistently denied the allegations, was cleared of any wrongdoing by the internal investigation, which was overseen by an 'external, specialised lawyer'.
On Thursday, the female employee who accused Horner of inappropriate behaviour was suspended by Red Bull. The team declined to comment on the internal matter.
This weekend at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah, Marko was due to have talks with Red Bull's head of sport Oliver Mintzlaff over his future.

But Marko has now confirmed he will not be suspended by the company and is focused upon success this season.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Marko said: "The conversation with Mintzalff was a very good one. I think everything is cleared.
"We decided that these rumours were spread and had no legal background. I will not be suspended. Our goal is to win the world championship. For that we will have to work hard."
Three-time world champion Verstappen was clear on the importance of Marko remaining to his own future, with the Dutchman having a contract with Red Bull until 2028.

As per BBC Sport, Verstappen said: "My loyalty to (Marko) is very big. I've always expressed this to everyone within the team, everyone high up, that he's an important part in my decision-making for all the time in the future as well within the team.
"He has built this team together with Dietrich from day one, and he's always been very loyal to the team, to everyone within the team, to make sure that everyone would keep their positions already from back in the day.
On Verstappen, Marko added: "That is a long time [Max's contract]. I was really thankful for how loyal Max was. I was impressed. We are not going to Mercedes together at the moment.
Mintzlaff also confirmed Verstappen would remain with the team amid speculation he could replace Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes.

"Of course. He has a contract. Max is a great driver and hopefully we will win tonight. I am here just for racing. That’s it," he said.
