Arsenal play-maker Mesut Ozil sent Arsenal fans home delighted this evening after scoring his first-ever career hat-trick against Ludogorets in the Champions League.
The German midfielder was his usual unselfish self as he turned provider for Theo Walcott's stunning goal in the first-half, but found his shooting boots in time for the second, and scored an absolutely gorgeous treble, much to the delight of the jubilant Emirates crowd.

Ozil opened his personal account for the evening with a cool finish on his unfavoured right foot:
And he made it 5-0 after perfectly timing his run to meet Lucas Perez's cross:

And the stadium was just about half-empty as Ozil grabbed his third, again combining with Perez:

It really was a mesmeric display from the World Cup winner, and whilst everyone knows he's not a goalscorer, the performance serves as a reminder about the level of talent Ozil possesses - especially as he negotiates a new contract.
