Former Liverpool striker Danny Ings has revealed all about his nightmare spell at Anfield during an interview with Sky Sports.
Now a West Ham United player, Ings was signed by Brendan Rodgers in 2015 and moved to Merseyside after an impressive spell at Burnley.
He made his debut against his current club The Hammers and initially impressed.

However, his worst nightmare came when he suffered an ACL injury in Jurgen Klopp's first training session as manager which would keep him out until the end of the 2015/16 season.
When he eventually returned he was injured again and was out for a further nine months. He later left after falling out of favour and has now opened up about the torrid time.
What did he say?
Speaking to Sky Sports (via the Liverpool Echo), he said: "In Jurgen's first training session, for me to get injured, it's one of those things.

"You hear plenty of these stories all around the world with players. In terms of 'what if', you just don't know. Could I have stayed fit and played under him a lot more? You just don't know.
"When I went there [to Liverpool], the squad was very big at the time: there were a lot of strikers. I wasn't expecting to play because I was still pretty young, but to go there and play as much as I did at the start kind of surprised me."
The 30-year-old has since got back on track with successful spells at Southampton, Aston Villa and now West Ham.
His best season came in the Covid hit 2019/20 when he scored 22 goals in 38 Premier League games.

That form earnt him an England call-up five years after he was first selected whilst at Liverpool.
"To go and make my England debut was huge for me and I knew all it would do is give me confidence and help me to mature as a player," Ings added.
