He can't help himself...

Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann is once again flirting with Manchester United.

The Frenchman has been continually linked with a switch to Old Trafford and in the summer, was quoted as saying that the chances of him making the move were "six out of 10".

United appeared hellbent on acquiring him and made him their top summer transfer target. However, following the ACL injury to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, that led to Romelu Lukaku being drafted in, as well as Atletico's transfer ban - which prevented them from registering players in the summer, Griezmann stayed put and extended his contract until 2022.

However, the rumours are back up and running again and the former Real Sociedad man has only fuelled talk of a potential move still being on the cards, with his recent comments.

In his new biography, 'Behind a smile, the life of the Little Prince told by himself', as quoted by Sky Sports, he says something that will seriously encourage United fans:

"In June, I extended my contract. I'm linked to the club until 2022.

"Although I might be missing out on titles, I have everything here to be happy but that does not mean to say I won't go one day.

"I haven't made that decision. It all depends on various factors. I have nothing against England except for the weather. Manchester United is a possibility.

"As much as I repeat that I am delighted at Atletico, I have a great coach and great team-mates, they regularly ask me about my future. I do not exclude anything."

Griezmann's Manchester United-supporting brother Theo has regularly teased fans regarding a transfer - and was it again on social media over a week ago:

French outlet L'Equipe have reported that Jose Mourinho wants Griezmann next summer and sees him as a replacement for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, whose form has dipped big-time of late after a strong start to the season.

Griezmann himself hasn't been up to scratch this term, scoring just three goals for Atleti and being booed off by his own fans in last weekend's Madrid derby.
