A lot of fairly average players have gone to China for ridiculous money in recent times and a number of other players are being linked with making the move to the Chinese Super League.
But the latest transfer rumour linked with the Chinese Super League is next level.
GuillaumeMP, who is a journalist for Di Marzio, has said that Jorge Mendes has revealed to Sky Sport in Italy, that his client Cristiano Ronaldo has been an offered an absolute mega deal from an unnamed Chinese Super League team.
Mendes says that the 2016 Ballon d'Or winner has been an offered an utterly unbelievable pay packet of €150m a season in wages, while the transfer fee to Real Madrid is a crazy €300m.
However, Mendes says that money is not everything to Ronaldo, who probably doesn't need the cash given the outside projects he has going on and the fact he has just signed a new contract with Real Madrid.

Speaking to journalist Alessandro Alciato at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, he said:
"But money is not everything. Real Madrid is his life."
Football's gone mad, pass it on.
