It was arguably the biggest transfer of the January window.

Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande splashed £35 million on Atletico Madrid forward Jackson Martinez but how has he performed in China?

Has he lived up to his massive price tag?

Well, it looks like Martinez is already wanting a move away from Evergrande after agent Henrique Pompeo told the media that he wants a move back to Europe.

Pompeo told Calciomercato.com:

"Jackson is very grateful to his club but has decided to come back to Europe.

"We are seeking a solution that won't damage Guangzhou, who made an important investment to bring him to China."

During his time in China, Martinez has scored just three goals in the Chinese Super League and AFC Champions League, making 9 appearances in total.

Juventus are thought to be keen on his services as rumours swirl around his future at Guangzhou.

Should Jackson stick it out in China or does he need a move to Europe?

Let us know.
