Dimitri Payet has been mercilessly trolled by West Ham supporters after he posted a clip to Instagram of his second debut for Marseille.
After a public and bitter transfer battle, the France international departed East London for his homeland for a fee around £25 million, and he was brought on as a substitute in the 54th minute against Metz on Friday.
But despite his presence, Payet couldn't inspire his team-mates, and Marseille went on to lost the game 1-0.

Afterwards, the 29-year-old took to social media to exclaim his delight at coming home, but the comments underneath his caption weren't quite as jubilant, as you can probably tell at just a glance:
As you can imagine, West Ham fans responded to the clip with little compassion.

Payet will continue his search for a first league win since rejoining Marseille when they host Guingamp on Wednesday.
But it's probably safe to say that even if he scored ten goals in that game, pretty much no West Ham fan would give him any credit.
It looks like Payet's name is permanently mud in certain parts of London for good.
