Outside of individual accolades such as Player of The Year awards and the Ballon d'Or, one of the highest honours a footballer can receive is when an opposition player asks for their shirt. And when the player asking for your shirt is Luis Suarez, you know you've made it.
This is exactly what happened to Jamie Vardy, during Leicester's pre-season friendly with Barcelona at the Camp Nou, over the Summer.

As the players made their way towards the tunnel at the end of the first-half, Suarez approached the Leicester striker and asked for his shirt, Vardy revealed in an interview with The Times Magazine.
"It varies [who decides who swaps with whom]. When we played Barcelona pre-season, I knew the lads would all be trying to get a shirt, so I weren't going to ask anyone.
"Then, coming in at half-time, Luis Suarez asked if he could have mine."
We only wish that Vardy had a spare Fleetwood Town shirt on hand to give the Barca forward, instead of his Leicester one.
