I've never felt so old in my life.
In one of the craziest stories of 2016 so far, Celtic have rewarded their highly-rated youngster Karamoko Dembele with a place on the bench for their development squad's game against Hearts tonight.
The 13-year-old attacker has shot with fans after several viral videos on social media and YouTube showed him ripping apart quality opposition, such as Barcelona, Sheffield United and West Brom, at his age level.
With that sort of exposure, it's inevitable that Dembele will attract interest from top clubs around Europe - and it seems Celtic have moved to show him he's definitely one for the future by including him in their development squad.
Some of the players in Tommy McIntyre's team are as much as six years older than Dembele, which makes his inclusion in the team all the more impressive:
It's the first time Dembele has been included in Tommy McIntyre's development squad - and it will have been aided by a number of young players being away on international duty this week.
Advert
The game takes place at Cappielow and you'd expect plenty of Celtic fans to make the trip to the home of Greenock Morton in the hope they'll be able to see the youngster from Ivory Coast climb off the bench to get some action.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry right now.
13-YEARS-OLD. I WAS CATCHING STRAY ZUBAT'S AT THAT AGE.
