Earlier this week, Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery sent tongues wagging when he said that fellow French international Antoine Griezmann was 'not world class yet'.
Griezmann, who picked up the golden boot award at the European Championships this summer, has been praised by many in recent months but Ribery believes that the Atletico winger needs to prove himself a little more before being considered in the 'top' bracket.
Griezmann has now responded to Ribery's claims just two days after the Frenchman spoke out about the 25-year-old.

Earlier this week, Ribery said the following:
"He's not a world-class player yet, because he still hasn't repeated his level of performance consistently over time."
Griezmann's response was perfect:
"I will continue working. As he says, we'll see at the end what kind of player I am, but I know I'm on the right track. "Everyone has an opinion. To my father, for example, I'm the best player in the world. To the fans of Atletico, too."

Griezmann has scored six goals in six La Liga games so far but he's still not world class, Franck?
