New stadiums always look great but don't necessarily work out for the best for those involved. Tottenham Hotspur will certainly be hoping that their up and coming move is more successful than two of their near neighbours' attempts.

A new stadium will always look shiny and modern and can be quite fantastic but equally it does mean that you lose a bit of the history that you've built in your old place- like when you move out of a family home.

For Spurs fans they won't exactly have to change their route to the new ground though as the 'Northumberland Development Project' is being built on the site of White Hart Lane.

That's why Tottenham were playing their Champions League games at Wembley this season, part of the current stadium is already being worked on, and next season all of their home games will be played at England's home.

Spurs have released new footage of the stadium along with images from the 'Premium Concourse':

Spurs say, "The new stadium will be one of the finest anywhere in the world. It will provide a new benchmark for stadium experiences encompassing something for everyone from new style suites, lounges and innovative dining to lively and vibrant concourses with food and drink to cater to all tastes."

Mauricio Pochettino and the rest of the club will be hoping that things for Spurs don't go the way of the last two high profile stadium moves for Premier League clubs in London.

Arsenal moved to the Emirates in 2006 and haven't won the Premier League since, having won it in 2004, and they've 'only' won two FA Cups since the move.

West Ham moved to the former Olympic Stadium at the beginning of this season, after a long and bitter battle for it, and the Hammers form from last season has disappeared as well as having to deal with some spectator issues.

The 'New White Hart Lane' will also be home to American football games with Spurs making a deal with the NFL to host at least two games for the next 10 years.

Their new stadium looks great.
